Bradley Hall

Former Secretary-General, Canadian Agency, Commonwealth War Graves Commission

Major Hall was commissioned a Lieutenant in Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry upon graduation from le College Militaire Royal de St. Jean in 1976. After his initial service he transferred to the Intelligence Branch and subsequently served in Ottawa, Montreal, Germany, Petawawa and Cyprus until he elected to leave the Canadian Armed Forces in 1992. 

With the aim of working in the Not for Profit sector in some capacity he was hired by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) that same year and he served until his retirement in 2013. While with the CWGC his duties entailed at various times responsibilities for CWGC staff and war graves and Memorials in North America, the Caribbean, Eastern Africa, Iraq, the Indian sub-continent and the Far East. In 2012 he was honored with the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for his work with the CWGC and his part in the repatriation of Canada’s Unknown Soldier.
